Somethings I would like you to consider, rappeling, your attitude during team building, your contribution during discusion time, your participation on fitness days, and anything else you would like to accomplish either indivually, with a classmate or as a class.

  1. 3 goals i would like to achieve are being able to take some control in the team building activies, being more comfortable with rappeling and lastly to just enjoy the last half of my junoir year!! I would also like to use what i learned in this class to make new friends outside of the class. That's something that i would like to do indvually, and as a class i would like to be able to say hi to everyone in the class without feeling weird, and to be myself in frontt of everyone and just be happy and comfortable.
    i wrote too much....ookay bye :)

  2. As a new semester gets underway, I hope to get to know the people in class better and work together with them. I am excited to learn how to rappel and get caught up with everything that I missed out on first semester. I also would like to get more comfortable taking a leadership role.

  3. For this new semester, I want to have the same quality in 'funness' and be able to accept the changes to the class. With some of our old friends leaving, I know it won't be the same, but hopefully the new members to our class will contribute positively also. Lastly, I want to be rappel upside down. That would be awesome.

  4. For second semester my goals are:

    1. I would like to have a more positive attitude toward rappelling and climbing. Even thought it may be frightening, I want to have a positive attitude.

    2. I want to meet more new people and be able to carry a conversation with them. I think in Outdoor Adventure, it is especially necessary to have great communication. Also, it is always nice meeting new people.

    3. During fitness days, my goal is to push my self more and more. It gets tiring towards the end, but I still want to try and fulfill the most I can during each exercise.

  7. For my three goals, I can always try to be more outgoing, be a bit friendlier, and maybe I should try to not be so pessimistic.

  16. My three goals for this semester would probably be:

    1) Try to share my ideas or give my opinion about other people's ideas more during team building activities and discussions.
    2) Try to pay more attention when learning the process of setting up rappeling/climbing type activites so that others in my group don't have to do all the work.
    3) Get to know the new classmates and even the old classmates a bit better.

  17. This semester I will like to meet new people and get to know everyone. I have rappelled before, but I am not very comfortable doing it so I would like to become more comfortable with rappeling. This semster I also want to always be involved and participate in class activities. Give my opinion and help everyone.

  18. For the second semester, my first goal is to get to know the class better, including everyone new this semester. I also want to become much more comfortable with rappelling, and hopefully that will lead over when we start climbing. And I am going to try harder on fitness days.

  19. Three things Id like for our class (and me individually) to accomplish would be:
    1) I would like to be able to repel backwards or to where we are hanging upside down
    2) Id like our new members to feel comfortable with everyone in our class since they havent been in our group activities before.. and
    3) Id like the team building activities to be less tention-ous (is that a word?) between us all. I think the break we've had between doing team building has set us back a little, but we were getting back into the hang of it by the last day.

  20. This semester I'd like to improve my attitude during group activities. I often get frustrated so I need to remember to be pacient with people and their various ability levels. Also, I'd like to be more encouraging to those who are afraid of rappeling or trying something new. I need to understand that they are afraid for a reason and I need to be more compassionate towards them. Finally, I would like to get to know the new people in class and help them learn what they've missed and get to know them better.

  21. 1) I want to start working really hard on the fitness days, even though they're terrible. But if I'm going to do them, I might as well get something out of them.

    2) I want to get up the courage to go upside down when rappelling, and get to the point where I'm enjoying myself instead of worried about falling.

    3) I want to meet more people and get closer to some of the people that I may not have gotten super close to first semester.

  25. For second semester, I want to.....
    1. Try things that would challenge me. Whenever we have fitness day, I usually just rest in the position (like push-ups). So this semester, I want to participate more in exercise.
    2. speak more. I have quite voice and that's why i can't stand up and say something during discussion. But this semester, i'll try to share my ideas.
    3. get along with new people. In my group (rappelling group), there's no new people. So I don't have a chance to talk to them. I think it would be a good idea to learn more about them since they are the part of this class.
