Let us know how climbing is going for you, things you have accomplished, fears you have overcome or fears you still have. What are things you still want to accomplish during our next 12 days of climbing.

  1. In my opinion, climbing is going excellently. I didn't have any fears to overcome, but I've had tons of fun. I especially love the thrill of jumping from the ceiling or the platform with the spring. My goal in the next 12 days is to help my climbing group become more confident in their climbing/jumping. I need to be patient and understanding of them and know which encouraging words to say.

  2. Through out the last few weeks of climbing I have had some achievements like the dangling duo, and some things that I wish I could have climbed harder in order to reach the top. A fear that I have overcome is knowing that I will not fall to the ground, and one fear that I am still scared of is heights, ironically. During the next 12 days of climbing, I want to reach to the top for majority of the things I climb.

  3. Climbing is going great, i'm having a lot of fun. I really don't have any fears at all. My fears that i had were jumping down and just the thought of letting go, but know it's like whatever to me. Things that i still want to accomplish would to jump and just do some new stuff that we haven't done yet.

  4. During the last few days I've had a lot of fun. Ive accomplished swinging and the centipede which I thought was incredibly hard...but still felt great when dominated(: What I want to still try Is the dangling duel. I can't wait to see that. Overall, I can't wait for the next session of climbing.

  5. I haven't had any fears, but climbing has been fun. I've done just about everything. The one thing I haven't done is the firecracker ladder, because I know that we don't do the highropes course this year.

  6. Climbing is going good. I’ve somewhat gotten over my fear of jumping from the platform on wall 5. Even though I’m scared of jumping off the platform or from the ceiling I don’t let that stop me from climbing. I hope that I get over my fear by the end of this year. And I’m looking forward to the next climbing session.

  7. Climbing has been fun. I don't have any fears and I feel accomplished. I can cross climbing off my list. I do like it but I don't think climbing is for me. I just am not into it as much as other people. It has been a good experience for me, but I'm ready to move on to something else.

  8. Climbing has been a challenge for me, especially because I have a huge fear of heights. I still don't think I've gotten over this fear, but I am slowly getting there. I've gotten about halfway up each wall and the centipede ladder, which I think are accomplishments for me. In our next 12 days of climbing, I would like to make it all the way up some walls and be able to make it over one of the overhangs.

  9. Theres certain aspects to climbing which I have to push myself in, or have others push me. But, it's going well, I like the rush of jumping down from the platform. I look forward to our next 12 days, and devils lake that coming up soo fast.

  10. climbing is fun especially when you know that you can make it to the top. I don't have fears when I climb but when i get tired during climbing, I tend to go down without challenging myself. I would like to go to the top of cargo net.

  11. Climbing is going really well, I enjoy it a lot. It is scary being up so high and jumping or falling. Climbing the dangling duo was a huge accomplishment; it felt great getting to the top. My goal is to become more comfortable climbing/falling and to help my group out, to ensure everyone does their best.

  13. I think climbing is a lot of fun. Unfortunetly, my arms get tired really easily, so it makes climbing a little harder. My goal for the next 12 days is to overcome the pain and just climb all the way to the top.

  14. I didn't have many fears while climbing. I'm very excited to do all of the different climbing activities. I can see the improvement in my climbing because I've made it to the top of the dangling duo and the centipede. Over the next twelve days of climbing, I hope to make it to the top of the walls I couldn't complete before.

  15. Climbing is something I almost always look forward to doing. I don't really have any fears while climbing, except that I might not be strong enough to get to the top of some walls or ladders. In the next 12 days I'd like to successfully get to the top of everything I try to climb and encourage other people in my group to climb more and take more risks.

  17. I feel climbing has really improved my ability to simply put over come my fears. Im not afraid of heights but it is still intimidating at times. I feel the only thing Id still like to acheive is just getting faster at climbing and getting more used to it

  18. I've definitely done a lot this year that I never would have thought I'd be able to do. When I first started doing the Dangling Duo, I kind of went into it with a pretty negative attitude about how I was going to do. But I actually got to the top, and it felt great! I think climbing has helped me not only get over my fears, but learn to realize that I can accomplish a lot more if I just try something. I'd just like to continue improving.

  20. Climbing has been very fun. Even though some people in our group dont like to climb we always find a way to push people to try. Many of the climbing activites were very challenging. Even though i havent gone up for a while, i can tell that the people that go have trouble with it.

  21. Climbing has been a really good experience for me and very fun of course. I never thought I had a fear of heights, but after climbing the ladder and jumping to the cargo net I definitley realized I do have a little fear of climbing. Although, after jumping I came over the fear. Over the next 12 days of climbing I want to continue reaching new heights and overcoming more fears.

  22. I think climbing is a lot of fun but it can be challenging sometimes because i'm afraid of heights. Even though I climbed the pole, I didn't stand up all the way and my goal is to stand up in the upcoming days. I also want to swing from the cargo net.

  25. I'm writing my blog a little late since i saw that i had this one missing. But climbing was great. I feel like each wall has its own special way of being climbed and theres always an easier way to get up there. Climbing at school in the gymnastics room was nothing like climbing at Devils lake. I had a great time up there and deffinitely wanna go back sometime with a group of friends this summer.

  26. I'm answering late as well, but i thought climbing was more fun than rappelling because there were more challenges for your group and we had more time to work with each other. I didn't have many fears for climbing at devil's lake since we had climbed so much at school. I did trust everyone to belay me by the end of the year when I thought I would only be able to trust a few.
