Your assignment over the next 4 days is to exercise twice for a minimum of 1/2 hour. Run,walk, Turkey Trot @ Harper, lift weights, do our exercise routine 3 times with a minute break between sets, play a sport, do something. When you have done that come back to the blog and share what you did to help keep you healthy during the start of the Holiday season. Also let us know how it felt. Have a great 4 days, I have a great workout for us on Monday and Wednesday when we get back.
I ran on wednesday after school and then participated in the turkey trot thursday morning. Both workouts left me feeling very energized and ready to go.

I got my cousin up early with me on Thanksgiving morning and we jogged for half an hour. It made me eat less on thanksgiving because I didn't want to eat everything back! I also walked for part of the day on Friday while I shopped.

I pretty much ballroom danced, ate tons of food, and spent time with my family. I usually do core rhythms during the week and on Saturday normally ( Combines aerobics with dancing) as well. Hope everyone had a great four day weekend! :) - Courtney Olsberg
ReplyDeleteOver the thanksgiving weekend, it wasn't easy to stay healthy, at all. But I tried to avoid some things. After thanksging was over, I tried to not eat if I wasn't hungry because a lot of the time,I just eat when I'm bored. Other than that,I rode my horse a couple times over the weekend which makes me feel a lot more energized from being in fresh air.
ReplyDeleteI did a lot of walking on Friday, and I did push ups, planks, and sit ups Saturday and Sunday. I can't say I fealt any different than I always do.

During the Thanksgiving weekend, I jogged/walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes (Sat. & Sun.). It was hard getting started, but once I start and finish my jog/walk I feel accomplished and stress free. This assignment really got me running/jogging again!

I played racquetball with my dad and my brother on Saturday. They're both way better than me, so I got quite a workout trying to keep up. It felt good, but I was exhausted afterwards. Then, today, instead of just sitting on the couch while I watched TV, I decided to walk on the treadmill while I was watching. It felt good to not just sit around and do nothing.

I forgot to check the blog before the weekend so I didn't do much real exercising. On Friday and Saturday I spent some time walking around a lot of stores and shopping with my family. Since I didn't do much over the weekend I'll try to do stuff like walking my dog or doing push-ups for the next few days.

I was unable to actually work out very hard because I am still recovering from my surgery, but on friday I did take a long walk with my boyfriend. It felt refreshing after thanksgiving but I am more looking forward to actually being able to run when I am fully recovered.

I did a little swimming and running, not much since I am still not allowed to exercise. It was nice walking a lot with my cousins during the break though.

It was hard for me to actually work out this weekend because i worked every day except for thanksgiving, cleaning theaters for 5 hours a day actually does give you a workout though!
